In 2022, 9-1-1 Telecommunicators in Cameron County answered an average of seven hundred fifty five 9-1-1 calls per day.
In the first quarter of 2023, Telecommunicators have answered an average of eight hundred fifty nine 9-1-1 calls per day.
They are not on scene, but they are always there.
