The District strongly supports voter education efforts in relation to Proposition No. 8 in the upcoming November statewide constitutional amendment elections, and increased public awareness regarding the inclusion within the Texas Broadband Infrastructure Fund of dedicated funding to support the statewide implementation of next generation 9-1-1 services and the corresponding enhancements to the 9-1-1 public safety system in the State of Texas.
